Specialist social work and social care recruitment company Liquid Personnel is the latest company to confirm a move to Sevendale House in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, taking 10,129 sq ft of space on the first floor of the Grade II listed building on a five year lease.
This latest deal, the fifth in just four months since the building launched in September 2014, following a £6 million refurbishment by owners Philip J Davies Holdings plc, sees 37,500 sq ft of the building’s 65,000 sq ft now let, with Liquid Personnel joining Ticketmaster, Big Cloud Recruitment, Equitix and Couchbase.
Voted the fourth best place to work in the UK last year, Liquid Personnel employs 85 staff and is moving from 52 Princess Street as the company is expanding and requires a larger office. OBI was appointed to assist with the acquisition of the space, the interior design and the project-management of Liquid Personnel’s fit-out.
Mark Davies, director of Philip J Davies Holdings, said: “We are delighted to welcome Liquid Personnel to Sevendale House. David Hickey, Operation Director, Liquid Personnel said: “Sevendale House is exactly the right fit for our business and the team. It’s in a great location and the inspirational workspace will provide the perfect platform to support the continued growth of the business. Everyone at Liquid Personnel is excited about the move and the benefits it will bring.”

Will Lewis, director of OBI Property said: “Liquid Personnel were keen to find space which energised their team and reflected the culture of the business. They never wanted a boring conventional office. Our workplace consultancy team are now designing the new office which will reflect the young and energetic vibe of the company. It’s a great testament to OBI that Liquid Personnel have appointed us again to run the relocation and fit-out process and it’s been great seeing their.
